Why do Rule Set Change events not appear on the log printout?

Rule set change events are intended to aid drivers, supervisors, and compliance personnel in determining what regulations the driver is operating under at any given time. Rule set change events will not display on the log printout or when electronically submitting the driver's RODS to FMCSA's eRODS system or to a Canadian official because they are not required ELD events.
